Thanksgiving Prayer upon the Election of the New Pontiff
Heavenly Father, with grateful hearts, we come before You, rejoicing in the guidance of Your Holy Spirit during the conclave. We thank You for blessing the Church with unity, wisdom, and peace as the cardinals gathered to discern Your will.
Lord, we praise You for raising up a new Pontiff (Pope Leo XIV) to shepherd Your flock. Grant him strength, courage, and humility as he leads us in faith, hope, and charity. May he be a faithful servant, a sign of Christ’s love, and a beacon of truth in our world.
We entrust our new Holy Father to the maternal care of Mary, Mother of the Church, and ask that You continue to pour out Your grace upon him and upon all Your people.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Sisters Gabrielle Fox and Louisa, O.Ss.R., both from Ireland, are currently visiting our Monastery. Sr. Gabrielle met with the Formandees, and her take-away message to them: "Each one of you, each one of us, is unique."
