R1: Isaiah 55:1-5; Responsorial Psalm: Ps 107:23-26, 28-31; R2: Colossians 3:12-17; Gospel: John
55:1 Oh, come to the water all you who are thirsty; though you have no money, come! Buy corn without money, and eat, and, at no cost, wine and milk.
55:2 Why spend money on what is not bread, your wages on what fails to satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and you will have good things to eat and rich food to enjoy.
55:3 Pay attention, come to me; listen, and your soul will live.
With you I will make an everlasting covenant out of the favours promised to David.
55:4 See, I have made of you a witness to the peoples, a leader and a master of the nations.
55:5 See, you will summon a nation you never knew, those unknown will come hurrying to you, for the sake of Yahweh your God, of the Holy One of Israel who will glorify you.
107:23 Others, taking ship and going to sea, were plying their business across the ocean;
107:24 they too saw what Yahweh could do, what marvels on the deep!
107:25 He spoke and raised a gale, lashing up towering waves.
107:26 Flung to the sky, then plunged to the depths, they lost their nerve in the ordeal,
107:28 Then they called to Yahweh in their trouble and he rescued them from their sufferings,
107:29 reducing the storm to a whisper until the waves grew quiet,
107:30 bringing them, glad at the calm, safe to the port they were bound for.
107:31 Let these thank Yahweh for his love, for his marvels on behalf of men.
3:12 You are God’s chosen race, his saints; he loves you, and you should be clothed in sincere compassion, in kindness and humility, gentleness and patience.
3:13 Bear with one another; forgive each other as soon as a quarrel begins. The Lord has forgiven you; now you must do the same.

3:13 Bear with one another; forgive each other as soon as a quarrel begins. The Lord has forgiven you; now you must do the same.
3:14 Over all these clothes, to keep them together and complete them, put on love.
3:15 And may the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it is for this that you were called together as parts of one body. Always be thankful.
3:16 Let the message of Christ, in all its richness, find a home with you. Teach each other, and advise each other, in all wisdom. With gratitude in your hearts sing psalms and hymns and inspired songs to God;
3:17 and never say or do anything except in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
15:9 As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Remain in my love,
15:10 If you keep my commandments you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
15:11 I have told you this so that my own joy may be in you and your joy be complete.

15:13 A man can have no greater love than to lay down his life for his friends.
15:14 You are my friends, if you do what I command you.
15:15 I shall not call you servants any more, because a servant does not know his master’s business; I call you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have learnt from my Father.
15:16 You did not choose me, no, I chose you; and I commissioned you to go out and to bear fruit, fruit that will last; and then the Father will give you anything you ask him in my name.
15:17 What I command you is to love one another.

Trusting in your intercession and sustained by the example of your life, we invoke you, O Blessed Mother Maria Celeste. You knew Christ the Redeemer as the Word of Life in His Gospels.
You became like Him as Your Saviour in the contemplation of His mysteries; you clothed yourself with Him as a living memorial. In your participation in the Eucharist, obtain for those who seek the truth and peace the joy of meeting Him in the mercy of the Church, in communion with each other, and in charity towards the poor and suffering, so that everyone may be united in the loving embrace of the Father. Amen.
